Cookie Policy

How we use cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 1 May 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Padel Loop Ltd (“Padel Loop”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at padelloop.co.uk (the “Site”).

It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They're widely used to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site's owners.

This policy also covers similar technologies, including local storage, session storage, web beacons, pixels and software development kits (collectively, “cookies”).

  • Session cookies are temporary and deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
  • First-party cookiesare set by the website you're visiting.
  • Third-party cookies are set by another domain (e.g. an analytics or embed provider).

3. How we use cookies

We aim to keep our use of cookies to the minimum needed to operate the Site safely, securely and effectively. We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Make the Site work and keep it secure (e.g. preventing abuse of forms).
  • Remember basic preferences during your visit.
  • Understand how visitors use the Site, in aggregate, so we can improve it.

We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling or behavioural tracking, and we do not sell information collected via cookies.

4. Categories of cookies

UK guidance from the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) groups cookies into the following broad categories. We've indicated which we currently use:

Strictly necessary
In use (when needed)

Required for the Site to function — for example to keep a form submission secure or remember a chosen preference during a single visit. These cookies are exempt from consent under PECR.

Analytics
In use — cookieless

Help us understand, in aggregate, which pages visitors view. We use a privacy-friendly, cookieless provider (see Section 6). No tracking cookies are set.

Functional / preferences
Not currently used

Would let us remember choices like language or display settings across visits. We don't currently set persistent preference cookies.

Marketing / advertising
Not used

We don't run ads, retargeting, or behavioural advertising, and we don't set any marketing cookies.

5. Cookies we use

As of the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, our Site does not set any persistent first-party tracking cookies. Specifically:

  • We use cookieless analytics (see Section 6), so no analytics cookies are placed in your browser.
  • We self-host our fonts at build time, so no third-party font cookies are set.
  • We may set short-lived, strictly-necessary cookies if and when needed for security (e.g. preventing automated abuse of forms).
  • If you submit information to us through a form (e.g. our waitlist), no cookie is required — we process your form data via our backend in line with our Privacy Policy.

If we introduce additional cookies in future (for example, account log-in sessions, payments, or marketing), we'll update this page first and, where required, ask for your consent before setting them.

6. Third-party services

The following third-party services support the Site:

  • Vercel Web Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless aggregate analytics. It does not set cookies on your device or use persistent identifiers. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel hosting / CDN — delivers the Site to your browser. Vercel may process technical request data (e.g. IP address, user-agent) to operate the platform and protect against abuse. This processing relies on our legitimate interests under the UK GDPR.
  • Self-hosted fonts— our fonts (Inter and Bricolage Grotesque) are downloaded at build time and served from our own domain, so loading the Site doesn't make requests to Google Fonts.

Some providers may process limited technical data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses).

7. Your choices

You have full control over cookies through your browser:

  • Block or delete cookies stored on your device.
  • Be notified before a cookie is placed.
  • Use private/incognito mode to limit what is stored after your visit.

Browser-specific guidance:

Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working as expected.

9. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal to websites you visit. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond. Because we don't track individuals across the web or set advertising cookies, our handling is the same regardless of the DNT signal.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, our services, or applicable laws. The latest version will always be available on this page with the “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we'll notify you (for example by email or via a notice on the Site).
